The Action in John Wick Chapters 1-4 is on a level all its own. But one element of the action I rarely see discussed is how great the sequences are at telling story.

Today we'll be looking at my four favorite action sequences from the John Wick Franchise, and analyzing how they enhance the story, develop the characters, and utilize narrative structure in order to elevate the action genre.
