Twitter has announced their newest employee- INTERN George Hotz who has been working on improving Twitter search. Hotz was previously recruited by Tesla CEO Elon Musk. This is a pretty big deal as Hotz is considered one of the world's top hackers.

Hotz is most known for being the first person to jailbreak an iPhone and was also later sued by Sony for hacking a PS3 console. For the past 7 years, he’s been competing with Musk by building his own self-driving car startup called Comma AI. The company has helped accelerate self-driving adoption by building a plug-in-play module that gives modern cars advanced driving functionality.

Now George and Elon are joining forces to tackle the lackluster functionality of Twitter search. Hotz has been using his platform to crowdsource solutions for making search a more impactful part of the user experience. Although he has only 12 weeks, this is one intern worthy of a return offer.
