Today, I’m going to tell you the story of MG RV8, also known as Rover RV8, which was built from 1992 to 1995.
This car was a British answer to the Japanese invasion with Mazda MX-5 Miata which, in its turn, was inspired by British legend MG MGB. And MG RV8 was a revival of MG MGB. Except for the fact that probably it wasn’t.
Yes, it’s a very complicated but very interesting story.
This car was a real piece of British luxury. It was hand-built, it was upholstered with luxury-quality leather and decorated with real elm woodwork. And it was very fast on a straight road. But it was expensive, technically outdated, and not so competitive against other luxury cars of the same time.
It was a failure in sales at its time but this makes it very remarkable now because it became a really rare catch for car collectors.

If you’d like to buy a classic, exotic, or enthusiast car in Europe and bring it to the United States – we can help.
Also, if you are watching this video from another country, we can find your dream car in the USA and ship it to you.
