On July 14, 2015, in Vienna, Tehran renounced military nuclear power after years of tensions with the international community. The historic agreement marked Iran's grand return to the table of the globalized economy.

Directly participating in the conflicts in Syria, Iraq and Yemen, strengthening its influence in Lebanon thanks to Hezbollah, Iran sows doubt among its allies and opponents alike: does Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Guide of the Islamic Revolution, have expansionist aims? Or does this offensive spirit embody a more modern nationalism, aimed at guaranteeing the sustainability of his regime?
