In this video, I meet up with Mark, another YouTube hiker and wild camper who's channel @trickofthetrail you should definitely check out!

We met up in the UK's beautiful Peak District for a few days of hiking around the Kinder Scout/Derwent Edge area. We hiked around 30 miles, swapped stories about previous trips, and spent 2 nights wild camping - the first in some gusty wind, and the second in a thunderstorm.

Mark filmed more than I did on this trip, so it's worth keeping an eye on his channel to see his video too.

This was my first time out in the Durston X-Mid 2 Pro, and even though it was pitched very badly the first night, on very uneven ground, it still handled the constant winds that were around the 10-15mph mark, (occasionally gusting up to 20mph), with no problems. The second night it was put through it's paces with some heavy rain and a thunderstorm, again, no problems whatsoever.

Everything in the video (including food and drink) was purchased by either Mark or myself, with our own money.
