Stiller du deg over Koranen og sier at homofilt samliv er tillatt i islam? | Fahad Qureshi, Jon Hustad og Maryam Trine Skogen

I høsten 2016 møtte Fahad Qureshi, Maryam Trine Skogen til debatt hos TV2 Underhuset. Temaet var om islam forbyr det å praktisere homofilt samliv eller ikke. Hun sier åpent at islam ikke forbyr homofile å leve ut seksuelt, og hun støtter at de gjør det.

Islam har i all tid, fra Profeten (fred være med ham) sin tid, frem til i dag, vært soleklar på at homofilt samliv ikke er tillatt å praktisere. Det er en test fra Gud om et menneske begjærer noen av samme kjønn, og hvis vedkommende avholder og har tålmodighet i dette livet, vil han eller hun oppnå en ubeskrivelig belønning hos Gud.

Videre er det enighet i de fire lovskolene i islam at det å generelt sett hevde at islam tillater homofilt samliv, er synonymt med å lage en ny religion, det er altså ikke lenger innenfor rammene av islams tolkningstradisjon.
