I've been using my Asus router for about 3 years and I finally found the solution to my problem.

I tried "FlexQOS", "Cake", "Asus Adapative QOS", "Bandwidth Limiter" and all had some downsides to them.

Traditional QOS seems to be the only one that is not cpu intensive and works pretty well when it is set correctly
