LONESOME DOVE is THE Classic Western. Period! It stands the test of time, can be watched over and over and over again and always seems fresh and exciting. The Pulitzer Prize winning novel needed the scope of a 4-night canvas instead of a 2 hour movie. Those four nights of western adventure with Robert Duvall, Tommy Lee Jones and others in the all star cast turned LONESOME DOVE into a giant success. Everything about the production worked! The cast, the script, the direction, cinematography, music, costumes, period detail brought every moment to life. Veteran actor Barry Corbin made an indelible impression as the wandering Roscoe Brown. Barry has appeared in over 300 films and TV shows, including 110 episodes as one of the stars of NORTHERN EXPOSURE. He can do it all...and does! As a storyteller, he's one of the best. His memories of working on LONESOME DOVE are both thoughtful and hysterical. Not only has he worked multiple times with Tommy Lee Jones as an actor, Barry's been directed by the Oscar and Emmy winner, too, and shares stories of what it was like. He even had time to share some of the adventures he had during his time on ANGER MANAGEMENT with Charlie Sheen.
