Grimmjow, Harribel and Nel all make an appearance during the Thousand Year Blood War arc in BLEACH. However their role within the story was very lackluster, adding to the list of areas of wasted potential within BLEACH’s final arc. In this video I’ll examine how these once formidable Espada transitioned from the major threats of the Arrancar arc to their lesser role within the TYBW arc. From Halibel’s capture and absence to Grimmjow’s much-anticipated but brief combat moments, we address the fans' disappointment and speculate on what could have been done differently.
