In this video I am sharing a simple mixed media page in my A5 art journal. You can do this in a larger journal or on mixed media paper - just make sure it is at least 200 gsm in weight, as we will be using lots of wet mediums.

*Supplies I used:

Assorted collage papers - neutral colours
Matte gel medium
Printed focal image of your choice
Medium and small flat brushes
Medium and small round brushes
Silicone brush - optional. I use it to remove air bubbles from collage
White gesso
Small brayer
Spray bottle filled with water
Assorted stamps - text stamps and small patterns work well
Stamp ink in Black
Acrylic paints - Dark Olive Green, Prussian Blue, Gold (optional)
Acrylic inks - Raw Umber, Muted Violet, White
Watersoluble Crayons - Jade, Bordeaux
Piece of non-stick baking paper
Piece of textured material, i.e. Jute, Raffia or corrugated cardboard (optional)

Supplies I always have on hand in my studio:
Kitchen towels
Baby wipes
Container with water to clean brushes
Palette paper to mix paints
