we taught apes sign language, and with language we gave them the means to network and begin scientific studies and grow culturally. But what we've seen is that when these "Lower" primates return to the wild they abandon this language. In a way we're no different, we're just at a different level. we have the means to be amongst the stars, yet we're not out there. what are y'all's thoughts on this?
