When you're living in a tiny space (in our case 3 little shipping containers) it's important to get organized so that you can find the stuff you need right when you want it. We are pretty much the opposite of minimalists, we love finding new hobbies, new skills, and all those things come with their own little sets of gear, so for us, it was important to really separate things into categories and find a system that makes it possible to pursue creative projects quickly and easily. There's still a little room for improvement in terms of category sub-organization, but overall these little changes have made a MASSIVE improvement in our life already and its been incredibly rewarding to keep tinkering.
