Today's episode was a bit self serving, I have a VERY limited kitchen right now so I wanted to know what meals you made that got you through college cause my kitchen is in essence the same as dorm life right now! I got a lot of fun submissions, here are 5 of the ones I was most curious to try!

HUGE thank you to Devanshi, Kotryna, Genie, Tere and Jeseper for sharing their foods with us.

Spam Episode:    • How People Eat Spam | South Korea, Ha...

Genies Omurice recipe:
1. Dry fry the diced spam first because there is plenty of oil and fat in it already.
2. Chop up the kimchi and Stir fry it in a little flavorless oil until it’s hot and translucent.
3. Mix the spam, kimchi, ketchup and rice together and stir fry using a little oil. I like to get the rice a little crispy on the bottom.
4. While the fried rice is going, in an omelette pan, make a very simple, thin, flat omelette. I usually used 2 beaten eggs with a tiny bit of salt and pepper.
5. Add fried rice to a plate and add omelette over it. Add more ketchup to taste. I bet kewpie mayo would be amazing on it. I like to add some furikake or green onion or crushed nori on top for garnish.

For Kotryna's Grikiai:
"Cheapest option in the dorms used to be to pour boiling water and some salt on to grikiai. Chop up onion, a clove of garlic and cabbage and grate some carrot. Fry it all on butter till everything softens. Drain grikiai and put it in the pan together with vegetables. Now you can show your creativity. Add a packet of ramen seasoning or soup powder. Maybe you have a some ketchup or soy sauce. Some people like canned smoked sprats. Maybe you have cheese! Hot sauce?"
