All of the lights we did that in like five minutes last day in the studio after like a couple months we’re supposed to get on the plane and I just came in and started freestyled that yeah kanye got on his mpc and was like boom bap bap bap did the beat in like five minutes we knew it was a big record but it wasn’t quite making sense all I’m hearing is just this really loud cheesy keyboard really abrasive drums that are drowning out his vocals and then cut to four months later and he’s got a symphony playing and he’s got Elton John Alicia Keys Drake Rihanna he ain’t ask them to sing they own verse he asked them could you sing melody for a background he could hear all of that stuff in advance before anyone Ye got ‘em in there all of the lights you know Swizz Beatz Swiss Beats he’ll cut it bow boom like holy this went from being almost unlistenable to like his biggest hits ever
