In todays video we keep moving forward with the Rustoleum blackout of my OBS Chevy Silverado truck. Today the bed gets the black Rustoleum treatment, we are one step closer to try 3 of the metal flake paint job. She defiantly needs a wet sand before I start with the flake and clear.

The Rustoleum was mixed 4 parts paint / 2 parts acetone / 2oz Majic catalyst. The pieces came out great. I went to 3.5 for paint and acetone on the cup to not have left overs. Also the fluid knob was all the way in then 2 1/4 turns out with the fan 75% open.

If you plan on doing something similar, test something small first to learn your recoat and dry times for the products you choose. Your local temp and humidity will effect your project. :)
