Bernadette (Mary Joy Apostol) tries to live a normal life despite living with Crouzon Dermo Skeletal Syndrome. While coping with the deaths of the people who were dear to her, Bernadette unexpectedly finds solace in Erwin (Patrick Sugui), an employee in her mother Jona's (Meryll Soriano) fish business. However, Erwin breaks Bernadette's heart when he leaves her before she gives birth to their child. While raising her daughter Xiona (Yesha Camile) alone, Bernadette becomes friends with Alex (Teejay Marquez), a German national she met through an online dating site. After meeting Alex in person, Bernadette discovers his genuine feelings for her and eventually gets into a relationship with him.
