Next Matt travels west to meet CJ Nielsen, a Master Electrician in Napa, California. They tour a recently finished project of CJ’s in the wine country and Matt is happy to see the value of craftsmanship on his jobs. CJ shows Matt the variety of work cut into his role as an electrician. No job is the same - even on the same property!

CJ talks to Matt about how he got started in the trade and what his path was like. They talk about how his interests at a young age translated into skills for the future. Then they walk through what starting steps may be like for someone just beginning in the electrical trade. 

Matt and CJ sit down and talk about CJ’s path into the trade and what it’s like being a business owner. They talk pros, cons and paths to becoming a master electrician.
