Tractor Trailer Crashes Off Freeway Into Ditch - Seems I've been on a roll (pun intended) with these absolute crazy jobs this year. I had the pleasure of working this one side by side with S&R Tow, about a couple hours South of me. The company called us for help on this job, so I responded with Hulk, my 2020 50ton rotator, followed by Dave in his 40ton rotator. Oceanside is a couple hours away from us but we were told by the company and someone else on scene the "job was ours" so I had no worries with anyone else showing up.

Sure enough as we arrived, S&R Tow was on scene and they were called by CHP, so that trumps us. Instead of driving allll the way back to Los Angeles, I just asked them if they would let us work it with them and man am I glad (as you should be) that they said yes because this was one of our coolest jobs this year. We positioned our trucks to essentially do two rollovers simultaneously. This was only made possible after we were able to use our trucks to split the tankers from each other.

We had the benefit here of having the trailers emptied out before we touched them, which allowed us to bring both units up with our classic finesse. The Peterbilt was also in such great shape even after it rolled, that I had to re-think my rigging to make sure when it came over, nothing further was crushed or cracked from the straps. The normal lift and catch points would tear off the stacks, mirrors, fenders, etc, but by putting my strap under the cab and over the step, it made it like butter.
