Sue has a lot of hairpins and hair accessories. She also has a wonderful friend, Sammy, who is always a mess. It looks like Sue's hairpins urgently need a roomy and convenient organizer!

In this video, we're making an amazing and super useful organizer for hairpins and combs. And our organizer is unusual, it will look like a Mermaid and it is made from very thick cardboard.

We will cut out the silhouette of the Mermaid from cardboard. Make sure to make it big enough, guys, so that it fits all the hair stuff you might want to put in it. And be very careful with the cutter! When the silhouette of our mermaid is ready, we can make it look more natural. Paste it over with colored paper, add shadows for volume and draw a face.

The Mermaid tail will have several layers. Foam and felt scales will help us with this. We'll also use some shiny details to make the tail sparkle beautifully. But the most important part of the craft is the Mermaid hairstyle. After all, it is the hair that will hold all our hairpins! That is, the hair is actually an organizer! Therefore, let's make a cool voluminous hairstyle from long hair.

Now, all of Sue’s hairpins are going to be stored in one place and no one will steal them!
