►Replacing the Mercedes M272 intake manifold has become a regular job for any owner. Their internal swirl flaps are the cause of major issues, and the only OE fix is a manifold replacement. However, there's more than one manifold to choose from.

Facelifted R171 SLK350s received a flap-free plastic manifold designed for higher performance under the M014 package. Luckily, that manifold bolts right onto any M272 regardless of displacement. Installing the M014 intake is the same process as a stock replacement, too.

In this video, FCP Euro Mercedes Expert Danny Kruger installs the M014 intake onto the M272 V6 in his W203 C350.
