Watch in 4K Resolution! Here's the final video from my time on the Central Coast of California. On June 3rd, 2017, Union Pacific's southbound loaded oil cans made a daylight run down the Coast Line. I chased them south from Stenner Creek Trestle and caught them at four separate locations. Along the way, I caught Amtrak 11 with an extra long consist.

Trains and Locations:

1. The Southbound Union Pacific OWPDO-03 Loaded Oil cans descend over Stenner Creek Trestle.
Head End:
Union Pacific 2610 - ET45AH
Union Pacific 5344 - AC45CCTE
Union Pacific 8108 - C45AH
Union Pacific 8213 - C45AH
Union Pacific 5604 - AC44CWCTE
Helpers:
Union Pacific 4262 - SD70M
Union Pacific 4193 - SD70M

2. Southbound Amtrak Coast Starlight Train 11 passes Ormonde Road in Price Canyon with two brand new Siemens Chargers locomotives and two extra P42s. Two private cars make up the rear of the train.
Head End:
AMTK 19 - P42DC
AMTK 81 - P42DC
AMTK 4612 - SC-44
AMTK 4613 - SC-44
AMTK 167 - P42DC
AMTK 115 - P42DC
Private Cars on the Rear:
Greenwich Harbor
Greenwich Estate

3. The Oil Cans follow closely behind at Ormonde Road. Note that the helpers are missing having been dropped off in San Luis Obispo.

4. The Oil Cans slowly climb the grade south of Guadalupe at restricted speed after encountering a red signal at South Guadalupe.

5. The Oil Cans climb the grade near the crest of Shuman Hill, just north of Casmalia. This would be my final chase location as the train would soon enter Vandenberg Air Force Base.

I have graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and have moved back to my hometown of San Diego to start my career. I really don't know what the future of my channel will be at this point, but I'll do my best to continue filming videos as long as I have the time.

Enjoy!
