I had a great experience trekking across the upper hills of Mawakis to get to Cutad beach because it was the first time I had seen a portion of my town that I was only familiar with by name.
To try to portray the ruggedness and beauty of the hills that face the West Philippine Sea, I made a short clip. While trekking, I saw several amazing and eye-opening sights.

I also felt a bit sad at one point because so many places have became "private," which has both advantages and disadvantages. I simply hope that we can do better to respect and care for nature and adhere to our individual responsibilities to our community. Every little thing we do matters because it will make an enormous impact in the world we live in.

Moreover, it is our role to ensure that we are familiar with our home—not just by name, but by experience.
