Mario & Luigi went through the Woohoo Hooniversity Basement in order to recover the fallen Beanstar, having recently defeated Cackletta & Fawful.

When they reached the Beanstar's room, they saw it was not alone. Popple & Rookie were there ready to steal it! They were not happy to see them again (obviously).

Mario & Popple took a surprisingly-gentle moment to carry the Beanstar out of the way, take a martial art bow, and then both teams squared off!

This fight is more or less the same as it was in Chateau de Chucklehuck. They got stronger, but so have you!

Popple & Rookie were once again pummeled. There was nothing to stop Mario & Luigi from saving the Beanstar now.

That was... until one of Cackletta's Peach-Bots fell to the ground and spoke again, causing the Beanstar to go berserk, again

Mario, Luigi, Popple, and Rookie latched on to the Beanstar before the it could take off. They all flew out of the Hooniversity, together, but they couldn't hold on to it for long and they all fell off of it.

But before this could happen to Rookie, his fight with Mario & Luigi finally made him remember who he was, is, and always will be: BOWSER! THE KING OF ALL KOOPAS!

After Bowser fell off, the berserk Beanstar then promptly exploded into four separate pieces, each of which scattered throughout different area's of the Beanbean Kingdom.

Cackletta was no more, but it looks like recovering this Beanstar will take a lot longer than what the heroes first believed...
