Wealthy, noble, clever and pretty, Georgiana Spencer - later Cavendish - might have been seen to have it all. But like her indirect descendent Princess Diana many years later, Georgiana would end up in an unhappy and unfulfilling marriage, coping by gambling, drinking and partying to excess. This video looks at her life after she gave birth to her son, her affair with Charles Grey and giving up their child, leading to exile in Europe, and her later years when she threw herself in politics and science, before coming to a tragic end...
