The DJI Mavic Air 2 is the latest in the DJI line up of consumer photography and video drones. While it has several new and updated features, the one that we are testing in this video is the RTH or "return to home" feature that has been on DJI drones since the early Phantom models. RTH relies on GPS and GLONASS satellite systems for accurate positioning and a vision positioning system for accurate hovering and landing. But how accurate is it? In this video we take the Mavic Air 2 out 500 feet at an altitude of 200 feet in multiple directions to see how closely it can land to the position it started from. If you are relying on automated return to home features, it's good to know just how accurate the positioning via satellite is!
