We've just picked up an awesome Spider-Man 2 gameplay trailer from the recent PlayStation State of Play Showcase and in this video I will breakdown all details you need to know about Spider-Man 2, including a lot of the awesome suits you will be able to get in the game when it releases on October 20!

The story continues from the previous games, with Peter Parker merging with the Venom Symbiote to capture the out-of-control Lizard. The map expands to include Queens and Brooklyn in addition to Manhattan and Harlem.

Players can switch between Peter and Miles during the game but can't play co-op. The main antagonist is Kraven the Hunter and other villains like Black Cat, and Taskmaster may appear. The conflict between the Black Suit and Venom Symbiote is a significant part of the story, potentially leading to a boss fight.

Combat features new takedowns and abilities, and both Spider-Men have their own skill trees. Stealth gameplay includes web lines and invisibility. The game takes advantage of PS5's capabilities, offering enhanced graphics and immersive features. The trailer includes easter eggs like familiar music and references to Midtown High School.
